My garden is still coming along quite nicely. I’ve begun harvesting green peas and several herbs. The onions, tomatoes, sugar snap peas and peppers are getting close, and my pumpkin plant is already huge.
Last night, I made a fantastically simple pasta dish with fresh pasta from RP’s, zucchini and sugar snap peas from the farmer’s market, and fresh herbs—basil, oregano, and rosemary—from my garden, all thrown together with some olive oil. It was so simple and light, and it’s always refreshing to know that all ingredients were locally made.
